The pre-operative check-up
This check-up is legally necessary: blood test, ECG at rest. This check-up enables us to prove your aptitude to undergo surgery: you have no cardiac nor respiratory risk, no viral illness (AIDS e.g.) or blood problem (coagulation e.g.).
Cost: The Belgian Institute "INAMI" pays part of your costs. A small amount will be due by you. (We apply the rates prescribed by the INAMI institute).
Any other specialised examination is entirely up to your charge. The same applies if you are not registered with a "mutuelle".
