Check-up prescribed by the GP
Your General Practitioner can prescribe a check-up according to the symptoms you have (for example a shoulder pain calls for an echography and an X-ray, a thyroid pathology calls for a blood test, an echography and a scintigraphy. A check-up because of simple tiredness can sometimes involve a much larger investigation).
Cost: the Belgian Institute "INAMI" pays part of the costs. A small amount will be due by you (we apply the rates prescribed by the INAMI institute).
Any other specialised examination is entirely up to your charge. The same applies if you are not registered with a "mutuelle".
